To be honest, my 'darling' mobile phone, candybar Samsung c35x
series, dead without notice this morning, following it senior, my Sony
Erricson T610 , and my first phone Nokia 3310 which both dive in dirty
water.
Plethora of smartphone already buried my 'always favorite'
discontinued-Nokia 3310 (for it sturdy-ness) and none of them offering reasonable
price for it feature.
Some of them have a camera with
good quality, but lack needed screen to display it. Some have fast
processor_with their core number even beat that of the PC's_yet didn't
have microSD card for expansion storage (WHAT THE HECk?!). Some have
good SUPERxxxx screen yet no protector technology. Some have software
support from the very creator of it, yet missing the crucial feature
(since not all person want his file in cloud storage available for NSA
to peek in). Some have all the need, but lack after sales guarantee
thanks to their not so known brands.
And even if they barely fill all my not-so-much-wish-list in my supposed new mobile phone, their price can cost a middle level employee, a hefty chunk of Bank Account deposit.I want new phone, new device, new gadget. I'm conquered by greed now. I want every feature to be in one machine. But the makers didn't make it the way I want it,......yet.
I want to have a digitizer tablet to draw 3D picture, pour my idea and creativity into digital format. I want to have a laptop to see my email, blog, share file and surfing favorite website. I want to have mobile phone to talk to my far away family. I want to have a camera to take a picture and recording video or TV programs.
Most of them already combine with each other, but none contain every one of them.
Why those Technology Owner didn't make things like that?
For my needs I already found that:
Mobile Phone + Laptop/PC = Smartphone
Digitizer + Smartphone = Galaxy Note/Tab /etc
Laptop + Tablet = Asus Transformer/ ***** Yoga / etc
Smartphone + Tablet = Phablet Sony Experia Z, Galaxy S3, etc
They already use Intel processors (Lenovo K900/etc), Nvidia Tegra (Xiaomi M3) or Capacitive touchscreen like what a digitizer have (Galaxy Note 2/3/etc) in mobile device. Why they didn't add more value (especially for me) to buy it?
I see those vendors like Samsung,Sony,etc ; carpet bombing their customer with lots of product which basically identical in function, and the only difference is just one or two function.
For all of them (those Vendors), I have one idea or may be wish...as you called it :
Create a device that worthy of my hard work,/my time/ my love/my sweat and blood (in earning money).
4 years of hardwork worth device, that outdated before I even able to fully utilize all it's function is barely 'worth to buy' in my eyes (Yes, Samsung, I'm looking at you for your Galaxy series).
Or a device that lack function that supposedly be inside a device, and strangely the only difference in the successors of said device (yes, Nokia, I'm glaring at you now).
Or almost perfectly device that just too seedy in feature ( Asus, it's yours for your FonePad)
I don't want to spend lots of my save just to get a hold of 5 function, and then spend a lots more time to works and save money again to buy other device with just 3 function that missing in my first device.
All Vendors should just... create 1 device, fully packed with all the technology in their disposal and then release the next one within 4 years with completely new technology and feature. Not all people have money to buy new device every time they released. Why you (Vendors ) never realized this?
If you (vendors) want money (profit), Entry level is the biggest market you can try to conquer by pleasing them with cheap yet complete (as in 'have it all inside') product. They just don't have money individually,... but collectively...their coins can make your piggy bank explode.
In the end...I wonder if a Mid-end smartphone with :
4,x Ghz Octacore Processor, Good Graphic, 6 GB RAM , Bluetooth version 4, Wifi , 256 GB MicroSD support, capable of 720p recording Camera, replaceable Battery, Clear crisp and sturdy screen, nice audio output, good body design, and great after sales service (be it spare part or service center )
is it that HARD to create? without blowing the price out of proportion?
